- GTHL SPRING EVALUATION REGISTRATION PROCESS
- The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) has prepared the Spring Evaluation Registration link which will open at 8:00AM on April 2, 2025. Please see below for important information regarding Spring Evaluation registration.

- Who IS eligible register for Spring Evaluations?
- Any player who resides within the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) Member boundaries and would like to tryout for GTHL Spring Evaluations: OMHA, GTHL, NOHA, Alliance
- Who is NOT eligible to register for Spring Evaluations?
- Any player who resides outside the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) Member boundaries. o HEO – Hockey Eastern Ontario: HNO – Hockey Northern Ontario; All provinces across Canada, excluding Ontario (OHF Members only); All countries outside of Canada.
- Players U9 and younger who reside outside the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) and did not play within the GTHL in the 2024-25 season.
- How does a player who falls under the “NOT eligible to register for Spring Evaluations”, become eligible?
- Family of Player contacts the Member Association to request a Permission to Tryout (PTT)
- If the family is relocating to a member within the OHF outside the GTHL, the family must contact the member where they will reside. (OMHA, NOHA, Alliance).
- Families who are moving to the GTHL can email Danielle Murray, Manager Registration at dmurray@gthlcanada.com
- GTHL will provide process information and required documentation to each family in writing.
- If application is approved, GTHL will advise family on registration steps for Spring Evaluations ONLY.
- • PTT does NOT define residency, and is only permission to attend evaluations for the evaluation period
- • If a roster spot is offered, family must relocate permanently first, before registration for the 2025-26 season is permitted
- Once a family residentially relocates within one of the members under the OHF, the family can proceed with contact the Member to begin the full process of applying for a residential move application.
