SEAN MONAHAN
Congratulations to our Mississauga Rebels' graduate, SeanMonahan who was selected 6th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2013 NHL draft.  in 2010,
 
Sean  captained the Rebels to an OHL Cup title and was named most valuable player of the tournament.
 
He was selected by the Ottawa 67's in the first round, 16th overall, at the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection draft.
 
In the first season, he played 62 games for Ottawa and represented Canada Ontario in the 2010 U17 World Hockey Challenge.  
 
Best wishes to Sean and his family from the Mississauga Rebels Hockey Family.

FOUR REBELS FROM 2012 MINOR MIDGET TEAM CHOSEN IN 2014 NHL DRAFT

Robert Fabbri captained the Rebels to the 2012 OHL Cup final.  This year he named OHL Playoff MVP and helped to guide the Guelph Storm to the Memorial Cup final.   He was drafted in the first round (21st overall) by the St. Louis Blues.

Michael Prapavessis, who was named the Ontario Junior Hockey League's top defenceman after guiding the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots to the league title and an appearance in the RBC Cup national championship, was taken in the fourth round by the Dallas Stars.

Kyle Jenkins, after completing his first season with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, was drafted in the seventh and final round (187th overall) by the Carolina Hurricanes.

Jake Evans was chosen in the seventh round by the Montreal Canadiens. The St. Michael's Buzzers forward was drafted 207th overall.

MISSISSAUGA REBEL ALUMNI AND MEMORIAL CUP CHAMPION
Stephen Desrocher, a defenceman from Toronto who was part of the Mississauga Rebels' 2012 OHL Showcase Cup-winning team, matched Cirelli's tournament scoring output by recording two goals, including an overtime winner, and an assist.  Stephen is playing in his second season with the Oshawa Generals, and has recorded 23 points (10 goals and 13 assists) in the regular season.
Best wishes to Stephen as he is ranked by NHL Central Scouting ahead of the 2015 NHL Draft.
