The Mississauga Rebels Hockey Club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1995. The Rebels have a full compliment of eight AAA minor hockey teams participating in the Greater Toronto Hockey League. The G.T.H.L. encompasses a geographical area known as the “Lake Ontario Region” that includes Metro Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Vaughan, Caledon, Richmond Hill, Markham and Ajax/Pickering.
The Mississauga Rebels have permission of the University of Nevada in Las Vegas to use the UNLV Running Rebel Logo. The team colours are red, white and navy blue.
We are extremely proud of our rapid progress and this is due primarily to our dedicated Coaching Staff, Executives and generous sponsors.
The Mississauga Rebels would like to thank all players for their commitment to their teams. Also, we extend many thanks to all the parents for their dedication and commitment. The coaching staff deserves special thanks for their efforts in mentoring and guiding our players to become valuable members of society.
To all of our generous sponsors, we thank you for your thoughtfulness, support and assistance in helping to provide programs for our players.
The City of Mississauga has been very supportive over the years. We are thankful.
The future looks very favourable and promising for the Rebels. We will continue to do our very best in the interest of the players – They deserve it.
Finally, there are a number of people that have assisted the Rebels in a number of ways, without them our tasks would have been greater – Thanks a million.
Deepest thanks to one and all.
